It is just the same except on a larger scale, + the jets are bigger :)
I found when taking things apart that it is a good idea to take photos as you do it (easy now with Digital Cameras/phones) as if you are like me & have a one/few sleeps before re-assembling it is possible to forget which order/parts it is to be done :o
You are nearly there just keep the faith and use the Force g-l

I'll be taking lots of photos as may take an evening or two so I'm bound to forget something, I've been told there's a pressure test you can do on the pump too has anyone done this?
Got my cap and rotor arm which have been put on today there's a few things I will check over tonight if I get these kids to bed. I'll keep this posted til the bar steward runs, cheers for all the replies

Just got my extension waterproof so can take the cover off the car and leave some tools out which will make progress a little easier, I'll hopefully get a little go at it tomorrow and a few nights this week so I'll keep you posted. Fingers crossed as always but I still have faith in the old girl

most of the solenoids are there to help clean up the emissions and smooth out the running.... the car should still start up ok though if one of the solenoids is dead

I thought this too but I'm just working my way through manual, it's not air vent vent solenoid sorry it's the afterburner valve just replacing broke stuff as I go. My carb doesn't have the air vent solenoid :? . Checked the fuseable links today goin to check more fuses tomorrow only thing left in the manual is check the timing then the compression test,
Was looking forward to driving at least one of my rx7's this summer but looks like another year with no shows or driving wife's car
