Bought my 85 gs for $3k it had 67k for mileage very little rust if any. My plan is to make it a fun Street Machine.

Things DONE, On 2014

New Tires
Removed AC Unit and Lines
New Thermostat
Add Lawn Mower Belt for Slippage on the Water Pump

Things Going To Add, for 2015

Gilmer Belt Drive Kit
Waterless Coolant
Electric Fan with Coolant Temperature Sensor. Not sure what Size i need?? Any Help?
Racing Beat Full Exhaust
Remove Air Pump
Custom Built Stock Lock Intake Cap. Ill Post Pictures

Welcome! Looks like a nice car, and you seem to have a sensible set of mods laid out. Not sure whether the GS had the full-depth radiator but if it does then a 16" e-fan should fit. Or a 14" if it's the shorter radiator. To be fair, I've a 14" on my '85 and it's more than up to the job. Changing the exhaust is one of the best, easiest, cheapest mods to free up power, especially the headers

not 100% about waterless coolant personally. Given the engine characteristics of dissimilar metals swapping ions and how prone water seals are to failure already... plus the issues that arise from having to top up the system if you get a leak. Let us know how you get on with that, lol

Im driving the car on the road now and LOVING IT. Any of u know of a good Carb Cap i can put a cone filter on
