Maybe it's just bottom then. Sorry, I'm going from memory.

I don't have any vaccuum nipples except for vac advance and reused the old ones when I've worked on other peoples carbs for them. What was in your kit? I've got 3 different kits here.

Have you got a pic of the underside of the thottle body on the carb?

Fez, have you downloaded a copy of the parts catalogue out of the library section of the forum...essential reading and reference if you're working on your car...they'll show how all the parts go together

Have a read of this...

http://www.rx7club.com/1st-generation-s ... ey-799265/

The gaskets in the rebuild kit aren't direct replacements for the factory bonded ones on the spacer plate so forget about them, the factory ones aren't available to buy separately, only on a new spacer.
Just very slightly rough up the surface of the bonded gaskets, apply the finest film of blue hymolar and bolt it all back up.

These cars don't get tested for emissions....just a visual check for smoke so don't worry about emissions, just get it running

I don't remember using gaskets when I re-assembled my carb setup :? I thought the spacer plate was the gasket?
