Colour implies first gen.

Power implies second gen.

I don't think they had second gens here in 85 did they?
Back in the UK for the summer, maybe longer......

I'd say FB as well given the late1985 Ist registration date. Also never seen a FC in any shade of green.

Snaith is not a long way from me but just had a word with Bro in Law
.
He's going for 'is 'air cut in Snaith this afternoon so I should have 'The Goss' on this car later on today. That's if it's on show outside.

OK, So it's deffinately 1st Gen, Series 3. C690 HDT. That's an old South Yorks registration so it probably has stayed local all it's life, (Snaith is in East Yorks).
The reg plate is marked 'Woodseats Motors', who were the Sheffield Main Agents in the1980's.

Bro says superficially it looks OK (though he's not a rotarian). It has been blown over a slight little bit on the front bumper area apparently.

I see from DVLA that it was last taxed in 1998.
The ad also offers a 12 month MOT upon purchase.......A buyer would be wise to draw up a list of requirements for a car coming out of long term store.

I like the sound of the 56,000 miles, our Gus just ticked that up last month.
