At the moment there is lots of little parts and pieces going in to car

It has been long time since car have stand on its own. I was very happy to see that today. I was smiling like moron when I walked to bro´s garage

All those classfibre body parts are slowly finding their own place. Car looks awesome! Ofcourse there is lot to do. Fabricate brackets, check alligment of panels and so on...

Its easy to make repairs to engine when you can stand in enginebay ;)

Sorry, but no updates on bro´s car. Just dont have time to do it now... :/

But funny thing happened few days ago. My workmate asked me if I need another diff for my project. His boyfriend has diff with LSD and 5,125 ration. They didnt know if its Mazda part so they asked me.

He sended these photos and said that ring and pinion has markings 1480. Also he send this pdf to me. Check 1480-27-110 on that catalog...

https://www.google.fi/url?sa=t&sourc...APImP4RqGrdozg

Is this true? Is it for my diff? And how much I will pay for it...?

Yes, it looks like an FB style diff.

The pictures don't give enough detail to positively idenify it though. I need to know if the flange on the end (where the prop bolts up) has threaded holes and I also need to know how many splines there are on the side gears (where the axles slide in).

If it's a 5.125 it's way too low to be useful for anything on the street. 4.3 or 4.44 is as low as you would want to go.

You have an FD diff installed and this will not fit that. FD is 8 inch crown wheel. This is a 7 inch crown wheel. You can double check that though.

What does he want for it? It looks like it has been sat for some time.
PM me if you like.
Back in the UK for the summer, maybe longer......
