all the lights work apart from the stop light! its not the bulbs, fuses, or pedal switch which all have power! is there another fuse box apart from the one underneath the drivers side dash in front of the bonnet cable? cheers mick

If the bulb has power, then the bulb is blown?

Just because you've tested these points for voltage doesn't mean in reality they'll work - if they've lost a ground and you're testing from an obvious ground straight off the shell then it'll give you bogus readings....

I had my electrician m8 check everything & he found there was no voltage from the stoplight connector wire where as the indicator, reverse, & taillight were all ok!

Re: urgent help needed my brake lights dont work!
In the Haynes diagram page 208, (for series 2 - there isn't a series 3 digram), the feed out on connector F11 at the pedal switch goes through X3, a front to back harness connector up under the dash behind the fuse box, from there straight to F7 looped to F8 at each tail light assembly.
Try looping a temporary feed from F11 out (Green wire on S2 diagram) straight to F8 connector (green wire in) at the rear near side tail light assembly. (Connection into F7 is a looped connection on to F8 whereas F8 has only 1 green wire into the connector to deal with).
Having said that I still like simple things like double checking bulb pins and bulb holders again as a first step. Deffo all the earths at the back earth point.

Re: urgent help needed my brake lights dont work!
I had the no brake lights on my Series 3. My problem was with a 4 pinned light checking module that the brake lights run through which is tucked under the dashboard, drivers side, about level with the brake pedal. The connector faces downwards so had become dislodged slightly and caused the brake lights to stop working. All looked fine by sight - the connector appeared to be in place, but wasn''t. The module looks like a relay, about 1inch cube black plastic (from memory) and the connector is white, downward facing with 3 wires. You will easily spot it bust by looking up under the dash near the brake pedal. Also check the switch on the brake pedal and its connector whilst there.

Sorry, the connector has 4 wires, not 3 as stated above.
