6 bolts remember, evenly spaced around the clutch cover.

RB has it right:

Yeah looks to be the same clutch cover as the RB one, but its clearly not, after looking at the pic I put up again, the smaller holes on the outside of the cover are way to narrow in diameter for the dowels to fit through, the bolt holes are the only ones that they'll go though.

The kits going back, I'll either be going for the valeo replacement or reconditioned used items.... but I'm tempted to try the valeo to see if its this specific manufacturer thats got it wrong ( most likely) or my clutch cover is genuinely different for some reason... that way it'll bring a conclusion to the argument. .

You've managed to get a bolt through the dowel hole in the above pic. the bolts are bigger than the dowels.

Honestly, I give up ;s;

EDIT: If you attach pics using Photobucket etc. we can refer to them as well
Back in the UK for the summer, maybe longer......

Jump the clutch cover 1 hole - you have a bolt in the dowel hole and a dowel in the bolt hole.

You can see 6 evenly spaced bolt holes, with 3 dowel holes in between the bolt holes.

Those smaller holes are not related to bolts or dowels....

No worries, thought you had meant the smaller holes, when I was fitting it I did try a combination of all the holes. They're all spaced the same and wont fit by the same amount.

Definitely the wrong part tgough.

Hi folks

Just a brief update to this thread, the two kits, valeo and the polish kit didnt fit my engine, no idea why. I spoke with wgt who confirmed everything I was told on this site. The kits should have fitted no problems.

I ended up paying a loal company to rebuild the kit that came off the car, which has now gone on no problem.

So a long way round but got there in the end :)
