As you can see....a few issues and fingers crossed there are not too many rotting surprises.

Thanks Ian and Codge for your advice and help so far. :D

looks a very nice example mate. pretty good shape too for the age as you get rust bubbles on rx8's never mind fb's.
hopefully she will be in good nick underneath. love the stereo too and inside looks very tidy.

i think you'll be ok and looking forward to more pics when you pick the car up. i hope it all works out for you :)

Thomas, main reason for a RHD is I dont like the Euro/US interior. Different dash/radio and sometimes seats. The ones I know and fell in love with in Aus are like the UK ones so it have to be a RHD. Its not going to be a daily driver so I see no issue. Also, maybe, if I do end up going back to Aus one day, I wanted to option to maybe take it back.....but thats a lot of maybes!!!

Plus I have a LHD 1976 Mazda 1000. ;)

I knew is was a sound thing but smarter people than me have said its to balance or move the sound around to each speaker. Looks like something my kids will break pretty quickly!!! :D

It's more exotic import car older 20 year LHD to AUS. Oldstyle dashboard LHD was manufactured from 81-83 for german market so no Problem to find one.
Thomas
I for myself like new style dashboard more only built 2 year and only in LHD with better functions.
 especially in left corners
