Exhaust Gaskets

Anyone happen to know where you can get hold of a complete set of exhaust gaskets for a SS system?

Any exhaust shop should be able to sort you out with these bud, but you'll probably need to take the exahust with you unless you know what to ask for.

Is the Reactor still on Paul?

If so it's worth dropping the Antifreeze, pulling off the Inlet Manifold (hidden bolt underneath), and renewing the water 'O' rings in the manifold. (Also from Rotechniks).

I say this because the top left nut on the reactor is the worst bastxrd thing you'll ever find anywhere on earth.

I think it's Keith (myatt) got a special spanner made but hey, 'O' rings probably want to be changed by now and it makes the exhaust job soooo much simpler..

If you're doing it this way then it's an exhaust gasket, an inlet gasket and 2 water 'O' rings.....plus some frrrrresh Blucol Antifreeze.

You could also bash 2 frost plugs into the water galleries once the inlet manifold is off, to save having to lose coolant when you remove the inlet manifold the next time.

Might take a touch longer to warm up as there will no longer be coolant circulating in the manifold, but this is offset by the reduced chance of leaks and a small increase in power from the cooler air charge.
