I'm after a complete series 3 interior minus the seats in grey ( or as Mazda call it, black)
I need the carpets, all the dash parts, centre console, side panels, door cards, roof lining, sun visors..... basically everything except the seats..... good condition only please

Re: Series 3 interior in black/grey
I got bits like dash top, sun visors, various bits of trim etc so unless someone comes forward with a full compliment I'm happy to put them aside for you

You don't need white flags Ian......it's all in fun.
Once my wife & I went touting a 1980's 626 company car to trade in for a new company car. Small consultancy - you could do such things there, the boss was a relaxed sort.
The dealer took one look in the car.....said "Mmmmm Velour, Nice"!
He was a real lovey that salesman. We still say to each other "Velour, Nice" with a pansy accent when we see an interior like than nowadays.

Re: Series 3 interior in black/grey
i always liked the red interior on the series 2. i thought it was the right colour of red and looked good with the whiteish stripes on the seats.
i can see what you mean though ian on the wine colour, but it was 80's colours. the tan colours isn't too bad, the series 1 black looked great
and is one of my favourites. are you going to die the carpets black? i think that would look good, possibly the seats too or go the whole hog
and recover in leather, if not too expensive and the door cards, so be kinda like the series 1.

Re: Series 3 interior in black/grey
The plan is black trim, turbo 2 black leather front seats, retrim the door cars in leather to match, maybe ditch the rear seats and go for a US storage bin setup.... saves the hassle/cost of retrimming the back seats which never get used anyway and the rear part of the seat is very heavy so a bit of weight saving there. Dunno how successful I'd be using dye on the carpets... grey carpets might dye ok but the wine carpets might just come out with that purple sheen, a bit like a Magpie!

Re: Series 3 interior in black/grey
lol yeah i meant to say dye the grey carpets. i wouldn't try the wine coloured carpet.
but that sounds cool. i know raymond has the storage bins on his silver fb and they look good.
the leather sounds good on the door cards and front seats too.
