Actually, that's the winch cable. They are frighten strong going by how the body distorted when we were getting it on board.

He did it just tight enough to not smash the glass hatch but I was expecting it to pop any second.

Does look like a rope though!

Thats a great bit of info there, man. I see that it was listed as for sale in Kildare in 2011, but by the time I got my hands on it, it had been sold to a guy in Galway before I bought it. Actually met the guy who was selling it in Kildare last summer at a classic car show, so that was interesting! Its UK reg was A52 KLN.
