Hello from Finland

Post by re japi »

Hello

I was told to come and check this. Because amount of information about FB´s ;) So here I am...
First, I want to say that Im sorry about my bad English

A little bit of history: About 10 years ago my brother bought a rally car. He started to test it and update parts. It had lots of problems. Long story short, engine blew up twize. He was angry... Then we heard that about a car coming on sale near us. Older gentleman passed away and his son was selling that car. Fortunatly, we know them so we went to take a look. There she was 1984 Mazda RX-7 FB, 113000km on the clock, in stunning condition... :) Even though these cars are REALLY rare here, we did recognice it. Bro bought it!

And that was it. We started a journey, we came fanatic about these cars... ;)

Well, later on engine blew. Carb was tuned wrong. So my brother rebuilded and ported that engine. After that car was his every day driver about 1 1/2. After that he brake it apart and started to build a race car, to national rallycross, "autocross" series...

Now the car has very little original parts left. It has 13b PP, FD´s gearbox and Diff, lots of custom made parts, old Imsa Gto bodykit, and so on... :) I have put lots of pics at MRC, ill try to put them here too...

For me, I own those FB´s original parts now. Engine, diff, gearbox and so on. The plan is to plant them to some old car, made a old school sleeper... :)

Hello Japi

I've seen your MRC posts too. And your English is fine ... there's plenty of native English speakers that can't put a decent sentence together

Anyway, welcome along and I look forward to seeing more of your rotary life on here.
