Leather shift/handbrake boots

Post by Hobbawobba »

Ive noticed that this website sells leather goods for our cars http://redlinegoods.com/CarOfTheDay.php. Would be nice to have leather instead of the standard... whatever it is  . 1st gen 7's are the car of the day also, so 20% off! Pretty cheap. Thought some of you might be interested :)

They do look good, although import duty and post will add a fair bit to the cost if you're outside the US. I agree that losing the stock plastic handbrake surround and zombie-skin rubber gear gaiter make all the difference. My gear gaiter came from a Jaguar S-Type, the handbrake came from a Vauxhall Corsa! I just trawled eBay for ones that looked like they'd fit. Think the pair were less than £20 delivered, and I got a spare Corsa gear gaiter thrown in should I need it, lol

The website says they ship from Poland. Do we have to pay the import costs still? I haven't bought any overseas things yet haha. Can also get another $5-10 back if you post the products on a forum and their FB page by the looks of it.

A Corsa? Didn't expect that one! Looks good though.

I'm just trying to figure out what colour stitching I want now. Big decision there ;)

There are a number of UK companies offering leather boots and for £20 or less you can pick up a beaut. I know it's non standard but it sure beats the hell out of having a rubber gaitor
