Looks good, I like the colour. Wheels look like an aftermarket version of the FD RX-7 wheel, strangely. Are they Enkeis or something?

There was a few sweet colours in S1 that were not continued. Still, makes them even more unique, eh? :D
It was called Indy Maroon looked like a dark metallic brown and had a wine/brown interior.

Cheers Dibs, there was a really nice gold colour too - different to the maya gold of the S2's. Called aurora gold or something Like that.

Hi Norm - car looks cool matey, must be an advantage to be a solid roof out your way.
How are the motors for the headlights? I have a pair for the Sa model in my rotarshed.

Hello and thanks!

I'm not entirely sure about the headlight motors yet. I am just about finished painting the engine bay. I then have to put the new (used) engine in and get it started.

Then I get to breath a little and start with all the other stuff. I may take you up on your offer though!

I would be curious to know how much and what the shipping would be to the states?

I also decided I am going to paint it the original color - Y5- Sonic Bronze Metallic. The engine bay looks fantastic and I cant wait to paint the rest of the car! What I really need is an exhaust system. The Racing Beat system is a bit expensive and I would love it if there were alternatives out there.

Here is a link to the pictures I have so far.

 yes, it's what I had to work with. The bricks were added to give us enough clearance to back the car out from under it. LOL
