Just wanted to say hello to the forum and give you all an idea of what my plans are.
There is a budget endurance series called ChumpCar that has a $500 car value limit. It provides some cheap track time, close racing, and all for a good value. I picked up my RX7 from a friend in exchange for some work on his race car. At this stage, the car is track prepped, but not race prepped. I'm working on getting a cage built through the team I work for, but the big factor is money.
If anyone else runs in ChumpCar, I'd love to talk about some things...or any road racing, actually.
Thanks,
Jake

Here is a pic from the night I picked it up. Still lots to do, but it is a good starting point.
