Here are the pictures i have, I am awaiting more.
The red one was running until a couple of years ago when Dad stopped using it. It still works but will need a battery. Needless to say it is not MOT'd or taxed. It is a B reg original Elford turbo which i owned, my cousin owned it before me about 15 years ago, it was red with the full body kit. I had it painted rover night fire red about 13 years ago and about 10 years ago, Tim at Rx motors fitted a series 4 turbo engine and series 5 gear box with the stock ecu and wiring. It has a cosworth intercooler front mounted. The stock steering box fouled the turbo so at the same time we did a rack and pinion conversion using EGI FC parts. It has a standard grey interior which is not very worn but will need a good clean. The rest of the car is standard except for the wheels which are a very nice set of 16 inch x 7 alloys in very good condition. The car has always run stock boost of 6 psi and since Dad took the car about 6 years ago, he has only done a few hundred miles a year.
It is rusty but i dont know how bad it is, if you assume that it either needs a lot of welding or should be used for parts then you will be safe. The body kit is complete but will only be sold if the whole car is sold, if it is to be broken then i am having the body kit.
The blue one is also an original B reg elford with the full kit (but no front bumper any longer) and after market alloys. This was also a cousin of mines, but she was shunted from behind and the car was written off, i am not sure if it is recorded. The rear end damage is relatively minor but there is a piece missing from the rear off side wing. It also has grey interior. The engine is a 12a turbo engine with stock elford ancillaries. The reason being, my cousin over heated it and cooked the engine so Tim supplied the import 12a turbo engine with low comp rotors, After the accident about 8 years ago, my dad bought the car and it has never been used since although he did drive it from essex to wales. The engine was working but it is not known if it will start and run without work. Ideally my Dad wanted to keep the engine box and back axle from this one for his kit car but if the right money is offered he will probably take it. The front bumper has been changed to a TWR one and one of the rear spats is missing.
If you would like to look at the cars they are just outside Carmarthen in south Wales. At this moment in time i am gauging interest in them, either being sold as a pair, individually or for parts. If you are willing to go and take the parts off yourself then that will be taken into consideration with the price.
This will be akward for me as i am a long way away and my Dad but if there is enough interest then i will take a truck for the weekend and strip all the parts and bring them back to Essex to sell.
If you have any ideas on prices then please feel free to post up what you think. Any questions you have i will do my best to answer but please bare with me for a few days while i get the info from my Dad. If you wish to ring me my number is 07968 061 567
Regards
Tony
