Welcome Stewie,
Good luck with the possible new purchase, there is a "where to find the rust" guide here viewtopic.php?f=26&t=36 well worth a read before you view a car.

Well, I had a look and the rust seemed manageable, so I will pick it up tomorrow on a trailer. Car is an 85 base model, no AC, no sunroof, no power windows, and a 5spd. White paint will rub out and interior is nearly flawless, 116K, no modifications at all. BUT, it doesnt run. Since I know nothing about rotarys, and this is my first rx7, I will have to rely on all you good people for advice. Will read posts on the site and glean all I can!
