Hi all

Post by gonders »

Good day everyone.
I life in Melbourne, Australia. Have only a little experience of mazda rotaries. Been in an RX3 turbo, which was a very cool fast car.
I am about to start a project, bringing a 1983 rx7 back to life.
It has been parked for about 20 years due to the power windows not working and has only 68000 km on the clock.
My wife's mum ( who owned the car) passed away last year and we both want to get it back on the road to it's former glory.
I am looking forward to learning a lot from this project about these great little cars.

Cheers!

Hi Gonders. Welcome.
The 12A engine is generally far better at starting up after a long time off road than a petrol engine.

20 years is a long time but your climate is good over there?

Hi Dave,

What stiff northern brew are you runing Gus on then? :D

Welcome bud! My bro used to live in the Dandenongs, and I 'met' a girl from Bendigo, although if she was anything like the place, I dont want to go ;)
