my wheels, for comparison, are 7" wide and 8 offset...and if you want to try fattening those rims, you can always borrow my fat spacers...they are 32mm wide, that should do the trick

ah, pooh, I may have missed something here. I take it the nice new wheels are 4x100 then...bugger.

They will fit Karissa's black 323 though...they'd look really good on there...so if you do decide to sell them, let me know

Stopped off on the way home from helping to deliver Ralph the RX-4 to Da Rotorshed yesterday...




...and was pleasantly surprised to see the Super 7 crew had already made a start on fitting the bodywork to ol' Safka. I only stopped off to kidnap the centre console so I could fit a new gaiter

Offside skirt needs a bit more work to fit, the line against the doorshut isn't quite as perfect as the nearside. Actually, neither are perfect TBH but the O/S is a lot worse. We had a bit of discussion about whether it would matter that the sideskirts and rear bumper have a swage line moulded into the leading and trailing edges that isn't repeated on the Elford front. On reflection, I don't think it will matter


I know I was undecided about what combination of skirts, spoiler etc to go with, but the decision is now made. I blame Ramon for forcing me into having the TWR spoiler off him, that was the tipping point lol. We're going large. Or going home, lol. I expect there'll be plenty of "the best look is stock" mutterings and everyone's entitled to their opinions of course, but I don't really care. I've made up my mind, and that's that now. Je ne regrette rien The bumper has had a pretty bad repair at some point and it's going to take a bit of work to straighten the top edge of it back out, and re-work the lines around the black rubstrip details where they've been fibreglassed over slightly.


And there it is with the whole point of the exercise in place, the beaver panel. This whole palaver has only come about cos I wanted one of them and then that left nowhere to put the numberplate, lol. The spare exhaust aperture on the offside is going to be filled. With fibreglass, rather than with another exhaust, that'd be a bit too M*x P*wer. If Ramo still had both rotor Furai mufflers for sale I might have weakened, but it's too late now! My only real concern is that the car might look under-wheeled with all this fibreglass tat nailed onto it. Hopefully those Panasports I accidentally bought might cure that. Or maybe I'll just go completely stupid there, too

Thomas, my struts hold the bootlid up for a while, and then sort of lose interest and flop so the broomhandle is a failsafe
