Re: one wiper mod
I agree that a single wiper isn't a good idea. The OEMs have to satisfy regulations that require the wipers to "sweep" a minimum percentage of the total windshield area, and drivers generally want all the glass in their line of sight cleared. Single wipers typically can't do it, which is one reason ...

Re: GSl-SE 13b turbo options.
I can't tell if you're in the UK or not, but there was a Cartech turbo kit offered in the US. It was a carbureted setup. They appear online from time-to-time. I don't know what it would take to adapt one to a RHD car.

Re: Fuel pump options?
That pump has been marketed under many different brands -- Facet, Purolator, etc. -- in the US. Since they were a cheap and plentiful alternative, many people used them. The quality, however, has been spotty. If you're concerned about reliability, I'd choose a different pump.

Re: What Rear Spoiler is This
Thanks for the quick reply. From the original image, I couldn't tell how wide it was; the pictures you posted are much clearer. Since I deleted my rear antenna, I'm looking for something that covers the full width of the rear.

What Rear Spoiler is This
I saw this rear spoiler on the banner for this forum, and I like it. Who makes it? Still available? Any feedback on fitment or durability? Any other pictures?

Re: Steering Idler Arm Bush
The way those things are made, the arm and gusher bearing bolt to the frame bracket. I think the arm and gusher bearing would work on either LHD or RHD. If you machine a mirror image frame bracket, you'd be all set. It might even be possible to cut it out of L-channel with a multi-axis laser.

Re: Steering Idler Arm Bush
The Moog idler arms are very popular in the US. They use a greasable "gusher bearing" that I'm told is more durable than the plastic bushings in the OEM setup. Since the idler arm is on the exhaust side in the US, the extra heat may exacerbate the problem. Mine recently failed during a track day, an...
