Re: New Springs - Racing BEAT

Good point... The price for springs is probably high, esp considering they've been made a long time to the same specs. But there tested and we'll regarded on the car , they would be the item I would go with. 0-0 I bet they won't actually drop the car either, the old springs on there just now will ha...

Re: New Springs - Racing BEAT

So the price imported is approximately the same as the racing beat Europe price, however if you import the items yourself your likely to be stung with import tax/duties and the Royal mail £15 handling charge too. For me it's a no brainier to go through RBE and see if that is still their price? Even ...

Re: White Fc Convertible

Hi Rich, nice to see your commitment to the car. You are probably right about the remaining steel. I can only rely on the pictures. Another option is to use a complete front of a donor car. I have done this before. It's a big job also, drilling out all the spotwelds on both the front ends and weld ...

Re: White Fc Convertible

Sorry to say that, but this looks terrible. I almost think that this car is to far gone to restore. There is a big safety issue with patching up all these bad spots. The total structure of the body will be compromised. I think if you dip it into an acid tank, there would almost be nothing left. I'm...

Re: My fourth RX7

Love a white FC 0-0

I think we need to see some details of the dirty bits

Underside, inner arches, engine ... since I'm working on my less than mint FC pictures of a car as clean as yours would make me happy -haha- (hp)

I use a different website, what you want to copy is the hotlink for forums address and paste it into the post. On postimage there is the "share" symbol that I click on and it reveals all your options. I use:- https://postimages.org/ g-l Others who are more forum savvy may have a better guide? Just o...

Re: The Latest 2nd gen sightings

Scissors Jack's arn't the greatest thing. If you can afford one the Clarke 3 tonne quick Jack's are great. There big and expensive next to the Eurocarparts 2 tonne Jack's, but brilliant for jacking anything up, and you can jack up on the diff easily. Even the small 2 tonnes Jack's are much better th...

Re: Panel availability

Hi Rich, Did you see my post recently? On Ebay a seller called LeeEngines has a few FB's & FC's which he is breaking. It could be worth a try. I sent him a mail and he responded quickly Yep tried there, he has a few but what I'm after are all rotten unfortunately. I was hoping maybe some USA or Aus...

Panel availability

Hi, The thread title probably covers the question ... But does anyone know of any places selling replacement panels for the FC I know FB parts are really rare now? What do I need... Most of the shell replaced (hp) but specifically the floor pans. I found some used but the sellers looking for £350 an...
