I also have a 2nd gen gear box was v good when removed. £80 Turbo 2 gearbox. £150 Mx5 box stripped from the cases the main stack, i was going to put it in a s2 case but didnt have the right pullers. £50 good for track days as its closer ratio. 13b exhaust flanges £20 plus post. Hello I have got 3 decent housings and a set of machined plates, good 85 spec rotors and the rotating parts. New gaskets. Do what you want with it, stock or ported. No risks of pulling apart a lemon. Blink Performance Autralia make them. Peter was the founder of Simply Maz who initially made the manifolds. With the pound down they are 250 quid plus postage on EBay. If you want I can try and message the guy. I think I paid 100 quid back in the day of 2.5 au to the pound. Well worth the conversion...

Hindsight! In about 2004 i went to look at a Porsche 911, 1965 semi prepped as a rally car, the asking price was £6k, it had a cage fitted and ran well with a tuned 2.2 motor. Why why why did i not buy that???? MAZDA Wankels !!! fantastic but what are they selling for now. 1000 maybe 3500 on a good ...

Me and my 7.

After searching high and low for a 79 rx7 to turn into a race car, i gave up and bought an 83 a reg s2 that was a one owner car but rotten in the usual places. This was mot'd and taxed, the year was 2005. I then saw a 79 which ticked the big box and I took my son up with me and it was an amazing car...

This is a rare car in excellent structural condition. Paint is faded as it came from California, however the car is superbly straight and will not require 200 hours of welding like some i have seen, infact it needs no welding, just a new owner to decide which way to go.
