Hello there everyone,

Well my names scott, I am from Glasgow in Scotland. I have been a mad Honda head for the last 4 years. Couldnt see past them and do still love them but after not have the best of luck with them i seeked a change. I decided to go for something nice and RWD had been looking at 180's and 200's and FD's was set on getting one of them until i happened upon a stunning freshly restored FB and fell for it.

The car is older that me but so looking forward to picking it up. First Rotary too, cant wait for those brap brap's :D

Thanks
Wishy

Hi Wishy and welcome.

Hope you can tell us which car you're getting. (Read this forum and you'll see I'm the self- appointed information gatherer).

I was in my 40's when my FB was made........now I'm wishing I was younger than my car!
Can you invite ladies into the back seat on these cars guys? That used to be the main social activity when I was a youngster.
Now you young bucks have it easy.....couldn't go back to his/her flat in those days. The lady's coal miner big bruiser father would be waiting on the doorstep!

Thanks for the warm welcome guys.

I will post up a build thread and start my part on this project. The car is mint so my next stage will be for finish it off. Suspension, possibly the interior and looking to go 13b in there too but undecided on that one.

Not on JDM Y0 but been to a few of the meets though, probs bumped into you before Dan.

I will get some good pic's after cleaning the car. I have the car in the south of France with me at work just now so it dirty from the drive down.

Awesome, slightly jealous of rotary-powered jaunt to the SoF 8-) Sorta grand touring RX-7s were born for. Oh, and welcome along :D

Hi Wishy and a big welcome to the forum.

Right decision withn the RX7 and you are a very lucky guy to get a car in such good condition - something we all strive for here.
What a dream drive you have made to SoF, I think there are a lot of jealous people here - now waiting for the photos too.

Now there's a thought - a summer extravaganza to the S0F with a fleet of RX7's .......... hmmmmmmm
