Ian, I can not remember but should the series 3 have a 225mm, if the 215 will fit I will have it.

hi Dibs,
the series 3 was fitted with a 225mm clutch, the s1 and s2 came with the 215mm clutch ..... but.... the 215mm will fit all 3 series of 1st gen RX7 and I've run a 215mm in my Elford s3 for the last 2 years with no problems at all.
The standard car is only 115 bhp and when Elfords raised the power to 160bhp, they left the standard 215mm clutch in it so they, (and presumably Mazda who approved and warrantied it) must have been happy that it would take the power.
Your right though, the 'right' clutch for a s3 is the 225mm one.
