rear shock length

Hi guys, was wondering whether anybody could give me the measurements of a standard rx7 rear shock. I'm after the fully compressed and uncompressed length measuring fom the centre of the lower bush to the base of the threaded pin on the upper section of the shock.
I'm after these measurements as i plan to lower my 626 and want to establish whether an rx7 shock is shorter than a 626 shock to allow a greater amount of suspension travel before bottoming out when running a lower ride height. Hope that makes sense. Cheers. Luke

I make it in the order of 520/370mm. Bloody hard to compress & measure simultaneously and I couldn't trust Mrs Bodge's fingernails to the rusty old relic I ran the tape over.
