Thanks for sharing Dave. I try to get them from amazon!

Good work Thomas. I wish all upgrades were this easy.

There is a writeup on Ausrotary.

Good number Dave. That's a bit more than I would have guessed, I was expecting it to come in around 140-150ish th:
Any intake mods yet?
I was expecting around 140 so it's a good result. Engine had good provenance though, having previously resided in the engine bay of a certain red RX2! Built using new plates, good housings and S3 rotating assembly.

Now if I was back home, I'd be getting someone to mod the nikki and massage the intake porting. Plan B will probably involve swapping the nikki out for something....... rdg
Intake mods coming soon .......

Instantly recognisable though ;) The factory one is a tad too short for this particular application and my garage buddy threw shade upon my suggested work around and insisted on ordering a new cable fit for purpose. Not only is he a Ford fan but also an ex mini owner and I think he is actually enjoying working on something a little different. The OEM one never stayed out on its own anyway so I am quite pleased with his choice.

We were thirty seconds away from firing the things up this afternoon and I thought I should test the fuel system first. We've been thwarted by a leaky float bowl. We think it's a gasket but there's zero time now to get things delivered, installed and tested before the weekend. So the Nikki will be pressed into service again for Retro Rides Weekender at Goodwood.

I still have the OEM choke unit that I got off you. I'll keep that for use with the Nikki.
