the previous owners have been at the carb, one of the check valves on the accelerator pump is missing its brass weight. Can anybody help with just the small brass weight or an otherwise poor carb to plunder. Thanks

Year of the carb and pictures should help a lot.
I cannot believe people are willing to spend much time in research and discus what you want, so you self dislike this.
Also depends what you wanted to pay and what state your living.
Buying a crap nikki in ebay, should be the better option as you will not find the part out of a reconditionable carb for cents.

I have a complete used carb, I will send some pictures hopefully tomorrow
