Dipstick Length

Post by Chrisox »

Hello,

The grommet on my dipstick is loose, not sure if this is a common thing. I need to know the length of the dipstick, bottom to the mounting face of the engine. So as the picture.

Also anyone had the same issue and have a good idea how to sort it.

thanks

Using some bearing retainer or superglue would probably keep it in position aye. Get some brake cleaner to clean it off first though  . I can't seem to find my one from the old 12a. Will keep an eye out though
