Time to show a little of her... As I wrote at Who are ya section - I am totally new at rotary world, but allways loved that world platonically :) So time passed, I am a big boy now and filled my dream finally - besides my MX-5 I now own this ´84 FB imported from Switzerland and simply LOVE IT!

She is in a pretty good shape, not rusted except one sill in fron of left rear wheel, but offcourse there is a lot to do. She was at one owner from the beginning to 2003 when she was bought by a dealer and sits since then with some regular drives (5000km) - odo shows 136000km.

Well what is the plan? To get her to driveable condition! I don´t want her to be like new, it is 32yrs old car and I love her smell and her imperfections, but want her run great so I´ll start with the engine problems:
- water temperature indicator is dead, I tried to switch it from another car, but it did not helped
- fan clutch is dead - I hate that vacuum cleaner noise! :D :D
- battery/alternator indicator is dead
will continue with regular checks:
- oil replacement
- water system flush/replacement
- brake/clutch fluid replacement
etc - offcourse I will document it :)

So far I started with a wiper blades - as I cannot find that special type, I changed just a rubber and am happy with the result and PRICE :))

Than I continued with the belts - GATES for a GATES - time difference, several years :D

Good stuff. This is the first Swiss FB I've seen. It's kind of a weird mix of everything I've seen in other countries - it has the interior found on other LHD cars (eg US and Canada) but the round side side guard indicator like UK cars and no centre taillight garnish found on other LHD markets and Japan - the rear looks like Australian and UK cars.

I am actually not surprised - Swiss has a market inside the market - I had MX-5 which has a seats I didn´t saw on any other MX-5´s ever (regular seats but made in alcantara :o ).

Today I was succesfull... I managed to get moving my project "get rid of that stuck fan clutch" :) So wen to a shop, bought a sheet of 3mm aluminium and start working on electric fan...

Before that I started with troubleshooting of not working instrument cluster - temperature gauge was dead and voltmeter showed only 8V with engine running. First I tried coolant temp sensor, no help, than I decided to remove the cluster - and when I saw it behind, it was pretty obvious that this will be that problem. I even tried one of the clusters we have in our garage and compare the cluster readings with infrared thermometer - cluster it is yay

So I started with the resoldering of a pins, all other ugly stuff will be step 2.
