Hi All - From Edinburgh

Hi all,

My name is Grant and I'm from Edinburgh. Love RX7's (FB, FC, and FD) and have them on my radar as a next car this summer.

Looking forward to learning more about the FB, and seeing some of your cars on here - and maybe even in the flesh if there are any in Edinburgh! (and hopefully watch the classifieds soon)

From what I've seen on-line. FB's can be picked up in decent shape for 2-3K, which would allow me to plow a few K into making it how I wish.

Here's a picture of my current car (also an oil muncher):

Hi Grant, Welcome.

If you look at the latest Location List -April 2016 (in Spotters Corner), you can see that the UK distribution of known cars is very light at the top of the UK and heavier the further you go down country.
This seems to be true for all the Series 1, 2, 3.
I don't pretend to know the reason for this but there it is.
Anyway, it boosts the rarity factor where I live (North East England).

Codge (Dave)

Hi Dave, Thanks for taking time to reply.

It seems these cars are in fact very far and few in between! Will be keeping my eye out on classifieds...

Not sure where else to ask so you or somebody else might be able to answer:

Comparison insurance sites always seem to have RX7's as 323's or 121's, is this normal? Do people insure them as this?

How expensive is it to see power from the 12A? Is it easy to see 150/200/250rwhp? (without imminent risk of destruction). With the cars being so rare I imagine parts are thin on the ground too. Not looking to build a drag queen but would like to keep up with my friends.

Are these batmobile-esque spoilers available somewhere? America only? Seen someone hint to this in exterior parts board.
