I thought it was time for a revision so here it is.
PDF format......bound to be mistakes so speak up and let me know.
(My page breaks are poor....I know that......hope you can all make it work).

As before, work on about 25%/30% fully roadgoing/ rallying....some are in extensive restoration but a lot are just on SORN or on bricks!

Cheers
Codge (Dave)

I counted about 20 Elford turbos. Do you have an exact number split by series?

Hey Prof -
An update for you on the original White JAZ rdg

When I bought TOF 7Y from museum I sold White JAZ to a Garage whom were hoping to open up as a museum and both White JAZ & Goldie were bought on behalf of Mazda UK.
White JAZ was re-registered as CPE 604Y and has been utilised for corporative events etc for almost 2 years now and within the last 2-3 months has now been re-settled in the London Area having been returned to Mazda UK.

Has it really been 2 years since this list came out? Would you be able to issue an updated list please Dave if you get time?
Things have certainly changed regarding UK 1st gens over the last couple of years. Prices have definitely risen, the supply of parts cars has almost dried up and even ruins are fetching good money which in one aspect is good news as it makes it less likely they will be broken for parts, scrapped and lost forever.
Another trend seems to be that it's well modified cars that are fetching big money too, historically classic car collectors prefer road cars to be factory original and for them to fetch the highest prices but in the general market place the well modded cars seem to be positioned at the top end. This is good news for those of us who want to try to improve on the cars original spec, not that that many of us actually care about the values, we are just intent on doing whatever we want to our cars to make them more enjoyable to own and drive which is what it's all about.
It'd be interesting to see how the location numbers compare to previous lists.

Yes, totally agree Ian, a revised list is well overdue.

It just needs a little tidying, I've kept the basics up to scratch but presentation needs a bit of work.
Numbers are roughly similar, perhaps slightly up.
The main thing I suspect is that there are some cars gone to the place in the sky that I never get told about.

Watch this space.

Dave
