Anyone got any hot tips on how to fit the throttle cable to the carb? Is there a trick to it or is my slight of hand just wrong? Choke cable was a 30 second job so I can't figure why this is so difficult. GRRRRR !

Cable goes into the guide on the right ... correct?


Reverse angle goes around the guide on the left


And hooks into the end here ... have I got this right?


Choke cable was so easy

It is a fiddle but put the cable end in first then into the guide after to give you more cable to play with.

Cable end is in but cable is now attempting to take the shortest possible route. I just need figure how to coax it back onto the guide. Will work on replenishing patience levels tonight.

I would have saved a lot of messing around if I'd taken note of where and how the cable came out! Cable end locates on the left ... I was trying to fit it on the right Even managed it too which was a right bugger to undo! Figured it out finally and it's sooo easy t fit DOH!
