Well it is about time that i took the big step and move away from the intro thread, and started a project thread.
This will follow my cars transformation into the image that i have in my head. Along the way i hope to make things a bit better - i.e. improved running, replace parts with new/uprated, improve handling, go faster?
As with most projects they start small and are ever changing and growing.
So this pic is from when i first got it

Since then i have been mostly pulling bits off (spoiler, spats, side trim argh whose idea was that) and dealing with the running problems of a 28 year old car. Replaced clutch master and slave, currently setting up an electric fan on a spare rad to replace my screaming viscous (noisy bastard) fan.
Back when i first bought the car i managed to track down a set of four of the TWR wheels, i picked these up last weekend. Got them fitted today but they will need spigots and one wheel is lacking the steel collars that sit in the bolt holes, oh needed longer bolts too. But think they look good! Retro cool and fill out the arches nicely. These will be a temporary addition until my plans for the other wheels are finished.

So i hope to keep things moving however slowly. Encouragement always appreciated.
