Hi
Just thought I might as well post up, I'm looking for a s3 front passenger side wing in metalic green. I managed to dent mine last year and was hoping someone has a spare in good condition as it breaks my heart seeing it all damaged.
Cheers
Rich

Re: front wing please
I have a passenger wing... but it's not green and it's not minty either, lol
It has some surface rust and a couple of small dents but to be fair, it's all repairable and no structural issues. Not exactly the bolt-on solution you were obviously hoping for, though, you'd need the services of a bodyshop! To be fair, I would have used it to repair my car cos it was a lot less dented than the wing that some fool crashed into... except it's the wrong side. I needed a drivers' side
The other problem being I'm about as far away from you as possible and still be in the UK. But if it proves your only option, let me know. I can get pics if nothing else so you can make an informed decision. Mind you, you don't say how knackered yours is. If it's completely caved in this one might be better?

Re: front wing please
Hi,
It sounds an option, I think I would prefer to get a good wing and fit that, but I'm maybe living in a dream land with a 30 year old car...
What are you thinking money wise for the wing?
Rich

Re: front wing please
I wasn't really!
It didn't cost me anything except favours (thanks Dave, lol) so I would expect to pass it on for the same. Mind you, it'd no doubt cost a fortune to ship up to the dark reaches of Scotland, which I'd rather not pay for myself, lol. I'll get some photos on the weekend, let you at least make an informed decision

Re: front wing please
Hi Rich. This is a test pic for uploading. (Ian asked if I could give any advice).
First I've exported a pic from my photo library to my desktop on my Apple. I chose 'lowest resolution' setting for this export, which still exported a 524KB file.
Then I've uploaded as an attachment to here. At the 'Choose File' prompt it displayed my desktop for me to choose.
Note that the file type for pics is .jpg not .jpeg as you might have assumed?
I'll see in a second how she goes.
Edit note.....thar she grows.
Dave

Re: front wing please
Finally....
a thousand apologies for the delay. Ought to please Codge at least, red pinstripes always maketh the man, I feel

As you can see, a tiny bit of surface rust in places (such as the front of the arch lip) and a few dings, most of which would be very easily sorted by a bodyshop. This wing is probably better than the one actually on my car, lol. Any use?

Stripes in 't wrong place. Needs to be 13.56mm wide, be bright red and be placed on the line of the RX badge for max speed gain.
