Hi guys,

I think I might have a problem, back in 2010 I had the inlet manifold gasket replaced on my Elford Turbo to cure ponding on the inlet manifold. Recently it has returned, after a run coolant has began to appear in the recess.
The car has done approx 2500 miles in this time. The manifold appears dry underneath to the touch. Is it possible the gasket rubber seals have gone again or is this the sign of something more sinister and expensive, would appreciate any comments.
The engine starts hot or cold without hesitation and having covered 81,300 miles runs extremely well

O-rings have gone or weren't installed properly I'd say.

yeah, sounds like the O rings Mark.... shouldn't have gone bad in that time/mileage... I'd take it back because the whole setup has got to come off to do the job right.

X 3 for the above.....'O' ring failure.

Bang in some core plugs instead of the o rings while you're at it aye! Won't have to drain any coolant if you ever need to take the manifold back off Can't remember what size I used, maybe 20mm?
