Hi,

Not much to report other than these pics, I like them at least :)

All credit to my wife, she took them and shames my photography skills!

Nice shots there Rich and your car looks great... Can we use one of the photos in the scrolling forum banner at the top of the page? if so, any preference which photo we use?

Hi guys

I do like them, the wifie's done well. She'll appreciate the comments, maybe even more than me :)

And im happy with how good a stock fb looks today :)

Iain feel free to use one as a banner, any of them are fine, not sure if the shape ( landscape or portrait) of the pic will decide whats best.

very nice pics of your fb.
are the original headlights not the brightest?

i heard of some upgrading the bulbs but they didn't work out with the headlight configuration or something.

Thanks guys.

Spoddy, regarding the headlights I know some people upgrade the wiring because the wire is a bit weak, especially for brighter bulbs. I rarely use the car at night so dont use the headlights much, although being a 1985 car I dont expect too much either. But they're passable, just :)

I had an MOT advisory a few years back due to reflector tarnishing / blackening.
I found the exact replacement 7" headlights from a small guy on the net (Cibie = Valeo nowadays).

Then I put in same wattage bulbs (no wiring issues), Osram I think, but 20% or maybe even 40% brighter (New technologies in lamp making).

Result and dead easy. Except I kept the old light units.....taking up space in my loft. Why for God's sake? .....That's just me......
 (simpleton emoticon here).

we're all like that though, don't chuck it out, you never know it might come in handy etc.
but that sounds like a good solution.
