hello, my first RX7 was a series 2 silver, PYK 66Y, which I fell in love with and spent much time, and money, reconditioning....only to fall in love with a beautifully restored blue model, OUU 169Y, which I bought in 2006.
The reconditioned engine on the silver was superior to that on the blue so I had them swapped. The silver one sat unloved in the garden until eventually being towed away, needing restoration and welding that I couldn't justify.
I couldn't drive two of them anyway.) ..so I was surprised when, browsing the internet for Mazda RX7, I spotted the reg and saw that it had been posted on ebay. Although people had suggested I sell on ebay I have never plucked up the courage.
The blue car was my pride and joy, and driven every day, but unfortunately family circumstances changed suddenly and dramatically several years ago, and it has been sorned and covered on my drive for the last couple of years. (which breaks my heart
and makes me feel very guilty )
Reluctantly, I need to find her a good home, with someone who will give her much TLC and restore her to the prevous gleaming condition. Having found your forum, with so many keen RX7 owners, I'm hoping that someone out there will be interested.
It's great to find so many people that love these beautiful cars, and even if I have to give mine up I'll be able to follow others on
here. Thanks, purplepenny
