Here is my 1st 1st Gen - a 2.6GT with air conditioning

we nick named this The Yellow Peril because if it wasn't started every day, for sure the engine would flood and it had to be either push started or towed

Hockey stick mirror mounts. Usually done in pairs.

Yes guys - they are mountings for mirrors.
The car was manufactured for Japan and was a special import for the previous owner. It had air conditioning which was really ice cold in the summer and I wish Mazda had installed it into UK spec'd cars.
The steel wheels came with the car but I bought a 2nd hand set of original sa alloys later on.
This motor started my admiration for the RX7's and it was soooooooo quick.

That's a very cool-looking car. Dunno if it's the little steelies or the colour or the US/JDM wings and repeaters, but for some reason in side profile it looks very chunky and tough. Proper
