I read somewhere that some one was getting panels made for the fb. Somewhere in japan/asia
They had sent a complete mint car away for them to tool up from that.
Does anyone know who it was an contact details.
I am after a non sunroof roof skin

how are after market panels made now adays? does a company such as blue print get the nod from mazda to produce them?
surely a company could approach mazda for their fb designs for certain bits that go bad and make copies from them so they could
sell them, ie floor pan sections around the rear, bonnets, rear quarter panels and front panels (wings/fenders) etc, roofs.

i remember a friend wanting to know if there was someone who could weld a new chassis for his fb shell as he didn't want to break
the car. but then it would be a tricky job and costly to do something like that.

Yes I imagine the set up costs and the licence fees from mazda would be expensive.
But if it gets me a new roof skin at a reasonable price then thats ok by me. As far as the bonnet front and rear wings and quater panels and bumpers go......well I've got grp ones

Ah ha, the secret is out Brian. My shell is now off for blasting and painting, so starting to put it all together soon.

Mine is still a long long way off.
Did I send you the homologation papers that actually show the 13b engine as homologated. I got them from a guy on brit rally forum. Not sure if I sent them to you
