Hey all,

Im Brian

New to the site. New to Mazda and new in general to rotary. I picked up my FB just the other day. I traded my 78 corolla straight across for it. He is a GSL-SE and boy do i love it. I have fallen in so much love with it that no matter what happens i don't think ill be getting rid of it.

The car has been named RICKY SPANISH...(for any of you American Dad fans) After the trade was made and i made it public to my friends. Most all of them were just like WHYYYYYYYY?!?!?!?!?! and has been getting me all sorts of fun flack. So thats how the car got the name lol.

The car pulls nics and hard. Feels great. It has that weird little rare idle issue that im trying to address. Where it dives perfectly fine and no issues then when you put in the clutch the RPMs drop almost all the way to zero. Luckily mine does not shudder stutter or act up luckily. Just need to get it fixed soon so its no longer a bothersome issue to me.

Mods that are already on.
Full Beat Racing exhaust ( headers back)
Racing beat stainless oil cooler lines
h&r loweing springs
bilstein shocks

Well below are some pics of the car as it sits right now. It does have its dings here and there and some paint issues as it was a respray from previous owner.

Where's the pics dude?

Good stuff getting a rotor though.

What 78 Corolla did you have. I've had a few KE35s, more than my share of TE71s etc. 4k, 2TG, 3TGTE and all that.

Welcome in, and glad to hear you're obviously smitten already 8-) Rotangs have a way of doing that to a man, lol.

I had a Toyota once

...still traumatised by that one
