Hello everyone,
Here is a photo of the RX7 which i hope will own soon. I would like your opinion about its condition and if you can tell what model it is... We know it doesnt move for about 5-8 years. They are extremly rare in my country and its the 1 of 2 known in my entire island...so i would love to save it before it ends up in a junkyard and we dont mind fixing whatever it takes...
The picture was the best i could get...ill try update some news by the daytime...

Certainly a 1st Generation RX7. Model FB,maybe SA22, both of which are on this Forum.
Series 2 or Series 3? Need much better pics plus a description of what the body shell is like. (See buying guides on here).

And what's the Island may I ask?

Can´t see the mirror or if the Rx7 is a lefthand drive. license plate moulding and rear bumper aren´t OEM (US-UK Version?)
But if it is a Europe Lefthand it´s definitiv built in 1983. Only the last 1983 cars have the 110x4 rim and a fuel filler door without lock. The model between Serie 2 and Serie 3.

Hello again,
Its left-hand drive and its from island of Crete in Greece. They are really really rare here as i said. Wankel engines have the reputation of non-reliable ones thats why most FBs end up in junkyards. Its definatly RB we know that but we hope it has the 12B on since we have a RX7fd and a RX8 cosmo. Its mirrors are on the doors not on the hood as the very first FB. Ill try get better pictures in daylight and ill update the topic....

Thank you for all information!

Here are the new photos at daylight.... Today is the big day! We found the owner the car works normaly and its left there because as the owner said he is too old for it with family and grandchilden. But he didnt wanted to drop it... So we are familiar with those engines and well go see and hear it this afternoon. :D 0-0

exhaust inside is shining light grey so they drove leaded gasoline. What oilcooler : Aircooled or watercooled? Power Window?
