Wow, that's quite some furlough period there! Eight years, and it started right up?

So much for the rotary fragility myth

Hi there 'TBod'......They are fabulous at starting up after an extended lay off. How many times have we heard that?
The record so far was the Belgium field rescue car......16 years laid up outdoors and still fired up. (A little coaxing admitted but away it went).

My JDM 12AT S3 was laid up for 18 years and that fired up fine. Fuel system was shot but that's about it. That was left outside too.
New record?
