Nah, No Challenge that one.
Let me talk you through a few of the secrets of the 1st Gen Register.
1. The car's reg is probably C452 *JD. You can make that out.
2. Go to the 'Reg Checker' page where 600 numbers are listed alphabetically vertically. Just scroll down to C452.....and we have C452 DJD
3. Go to the 'Car Details' Page wherein is all the collected info. Using the Excel 'Find' feature search for 'DJD'
We come up with a White DJD that was in Norwich, now scrapped......WTF!.....answer....there's more than one DJD!
4.The 'Find Next' command gives the next car....C452 DJD .....a well known car. Last seen it was Blue with a TWR kit.....Bingo!...It was in Bristol 2008....Then moved to Leeds area (Exile Member), whence it was Bridgeported by Uncle Era (darn sarf). Then sold to a Kiwi in Cheshire at the end of 2009...... That was it's last known sighting.
5. Finally look at the '1st Gen Locations' sheet......Yep it's logged as being in Cheshire. Do we move it to Yorvik? Ponder, ponder......No.....because it might have been on a trip to York that day.
6. So add a note 'spotted in York 2011' to the Car on the details page and wait for more sightings,
That's roughy how the detection goes.......CSI do it all from desks using computers, tits and bums, don't see why I can't use my screen the same.
(Hate CSI, love the athletic ladies they employ. Particularly like that older ex pole dancer. Don't like the dope with the pigtails though.....she'll be a right fart off screen).
