Thanks for the nice pictures Ian! I am missing the new wheels and the jet cover on Daves car.

Always sharp eyes on you Thomas! The headlamp washer covers disappeared at a show !

The Lotus wheels have turned out to be not exactly round although they look ok visually. I thought it was a fitment issue until GTJames reminded me that we both use the same nuts and spigot rings and that his wheels fit just fine. So I am currently trying to find a company that can make the wheels perfectly round again!

Another 1st Gen in South Yorks, it's been a bit lonely here, being the only one.

RRG 2018 was excellent. A great turnout overall, nice weather and a full stand of RX's for RX7FB.COM. I managed to get some hill time again and spent a lot of the day trying to figure out why the car was a lot faster up the hill this year. Took me a while on this one ... no passenger! Actually, the first time in three years without a co pilot up the hill. A real demonstration on how 'added lightness' is so beneficial. Unfortunately, our morning session was cut short by the drift demonstration car drifting somewhat off course and causing a big delay which was a shame for the organisers who had managed to get the morning session ahead of schedule.

So most of my pics are from the top of the hill or in the marshalling area at the bottom.





































































































Thanks to Ian for organising the stand once again and ordering the right kind of weather. It was great catching up with familiar faces and meeting some new ones.

And an extra shout out to Jesse for putting me up (or putting up with me) over the weekend. The last pic is, deservedly, a demonstration of what kiwi ingenuity can achieve and the attention to detail that we can expect to see from his ongoing build

Red Engine Cover with carb intake is black now with fuel injection. Power was 160 HP. Do you now the power on the retro rides with injection Dave? (Never saw a Morris Pickup, so cool)

Awesome to see you guys again aye! Was another great day. The pictures on my phone are a bit rubbish to upload haha.

James and I spoke to Joe for a good while at one point in the day aye. He seemed like a really good guy and doesn't want to butcher that clean series 3. Some slight lows along with period correct wheels

Anytime bro it was a good catch up with some nice pints! Hahahaha. Whatever gets the job done aye?! Something temporary until I can get the car running and line the exhaust up properly . It actually kind of suits my faded paint and whatnot
