I had every intention of bringing it to the retro rides gathering but I'm annoyingly booked into another event
Injectors: two on the centre plate and two going into the inlet manifold

Lots to update, just been so busy, a trip to the best place in the world got in the way, but it was great to get back in the S2000, such a great car.

I've been stripping anything in the engine bay that needs a refresh (pretty much everything) and have either shotblasted it, or wire wooled it ready for powder coating, some examples below:

...and of course documenting where everything goes for the reinstall.
Finally, the engine was delivered last Friday, so after a bit more of work tidying up the engine bay, she can go back in.

One thing I could use the forums help with is where to source a new o-ring for where the turbo hat meets the throttle body, so one of these:

It's certainly not gonna be the cleanest engine bay in the world, I certainly dont want to do a wire tuck etc, but it should be a lot more presentable. I'll be tidying as much of the wire snakepit as I can, there is a few unsused connectors from the original loom still flapping about and will then cover what I can in some braided sleeves.
Im thinking of making up some covers for the sides to clean everything up, probs make some cardboard templates up to see if it'll work.
Once it's all back in and running, I'll probs go back and starting swapping the fuel lines for AN fixings and the like, for now I just want her tidier and running.

Oooo that's looking pretty clean aye. Was nice and quick too!
I love powder coated parts!
Re: Wires' 12a Turbo
Spending most evening cleaning up small bits and pieces around the engine bay, last night fitted the repainted relays.
Started cleaning up all the wiring, which reminded me that the fuel injector female clips are getting very brittle. Does anyone know the best place to source these? S5 ones I'm guessing?

I think they are EV1 pigtails, but they all seem to be for sale in the states. Does anyone know if they are a simple cut and rewire?
Also still trying to source a suitable o-ring for the turbo hat (see above)

Engine is back in, also got the turbo back on and hooked up to the exhaust, although not in the pic of course.
It took a few attempts to get the splines aligned, then when we finally got it on by using some of the bell housing bolts to pull it together, the clutch slave cylinder wouldn't go on. So engine back off, attach that first, then engine back on. Thank god for my mates and especially the engine hoist.

Hopefully all the other bits can be collected from the powder coaters today or tomorrow and I can just crack on myself. Hardest part done though!

As for as I can remember it is for a speaker for the base model series 1 that only came with a FM radio.
