I'm surprised at that Dave... that's got to be worth £400 of anybodys money.

Yep, the seller called at my house once for some bits (he's about 20 miles away).

He seemed a very nice genuine guy (his lady also); I would trust his advert wording.

No bids at £400

I guess it could just be the wrong time of the year to be selling it......still surprised at no bids at all though.....

are you being serious or sarcastic?
i have seen it advertised and another red one still on Uk plates, but its this VRT i don't quite follow.
i think the one you are talking about has vrt included, but i am in the north and we're part of the UK
so that vrt only applies to people bringing cars into the south and driving them on southern roads.

as he wants about 2850 for it. i know of one which is original never resprayed apparently for about that, well 400 more.
why do you call this one the red peril?

i was offered this car for that money, but its getting it home. i like the interior of it and yes the people
seem very decent in their email to me. at the time they hadn't replaced the engine, its more the condition
of the shell really which you think about. they mentioned one area needing welding, i dunno what the rest of
the underneath is like.

i was looking under my mx3 and noticed a few dents in the chassis rail where servicing mechanics must have jacked at.
nothing major and not an MOT issue, plus she is well sealed. i could of had a white fb where the rail had a slightly larger dent
but was put off by it and now kind of regret it as was told its common by another fb owner, but my lack of experience let me down.

i have become a bit resound to the fact that i'll have to save up some more to buy one of the minter models i know of as there are
not so many cleanish fbs in n.ireland. plus adding up transport and getting it MOT'd costs etc, you are spending as much really.

No, serious Spod mate. We all liked this car immensely when it was first advertised @ around £2800. Now it's down to £2250 (which I think is code for accepting a couple of grand).

'The Red Peril'? well it just suited it, those side flashes do give it a touch of dash don't you think.

It's not been resprayed has it? I didn't think so.....it just looks a minter at a realistic price. Looks very cared for under the bonnet. No idea what she's like underneath though.

too shiney to not have been resprayed, plus the rubber bumper trim is red, is it not standard rubber/plastic black?
however if all done and she is looked after then not bad i suppose. may need to pay import duty to reg back into the north
as vrt has been paid its ready to drive on southern ireland plates. its on uk plates though, more so northern plates.

not sure, but not too many cheapy ones in ireland, north or south.

just checked, owned by a ferrari mechanic, so resprayed in ferrari red. though interior been recovered in black leather with red pipping.
just noticed its a series two, would prefer a series three, though i do like that series two on ebay with the red interior.
