Hi Lucky - I too prefer the original S3 alloys or the Elfords and would try and keep the arches original. There are a few 7's around in close to 'as built' specification so I wouldn't fret over making some changes if that is your thing - as long as you like it and enjoy it 0-0

The difference between 195/60 and 205/60 is surprisingly large - makes the difference between fit and no-fit with my arches  10mm wider, and 6mm larger radius doesn't sound like much, but the way the 195 curves at the edge seems to make a big difference...

It should drop a bit after a bit of movement :)

Thought it was about time I took a decent photo of poor ol' Safka. He's been humming about on the daily commute through wind and sleet without a complaint but I've never really had the chance to take him anywhere nice and take some decent pics. Still haven't lol, but with Tim demanding pics for his Exile calndar thing, I had no choice but to park him up on the top deck at work and try to make an arty shot out of a grey, mizzly December day. Anyway, the end result made me think of the 70s, which as I remember them were all in black and white or sepia anyway (except for Marc Bolan and Jethro Tull) so after a bit of gentle retouching I thought it might finally make a gallery-worthy pic? Feel free to jeer and throw things, best I could do at short notice

Edit function seems to have vanished while I was doing the next one, so it'll have to be a new post :? I like sepia, it makes me think of the Sweeney, Get Carter and betting shops full of fag smoke like they used to be 8-) Seems to suit FBs as well

Very Good Nik. I like the B&W one best, but hey, shows what you can do even on a gloomy day.

Both worthy photos..... W(p

When I was a young lad.......we had to get a metal key......open each door seperately......use another metal key to remove the Krooklok......adjust the seat manually.......open the big map at the right page, not upside down.....check the milage on a sheet of paper 'cos the fuel guage was bust,.....find the choke.....remember it had got a clutch (i.e. not auto/not in gear)......hope and pray it would start easy........rummage in the dash for the Genesis Tape.....rap the wife's knuckles for passing Dr.Useless Hook.....light a fag......and orff we could go.

Nothings changed guys, still do all the above except tapes and the fags have given up about 3 decades back.
