Considering the mileage, it must have spent a fair while outside in the Sun/heat which destroys the Interiors. I am guessing it must have had a replacement 8-)

Banana man’s Rx7 back on ebay.
Also offered together in the same listing is red series 3 from the Channel Islands. Tin worm has had a go at it but might be saveable.
Not sure the last photo on the listing belongs there - looks more like the dash of an early 70s Toyota Corolla.

Sellers description:

1985 Mazda RX7 incredible condition, owned by Mazda for the last 25 years!

The GTR Heritage Centre is pleased to present this stunning 1985 Mazda RX-7 sports coupe. This incredible example has been on display
inside the showroom of a local Mazda dealer for over 20 years. During this time, it has covered very little mileage and has only been worked on by rotary trained Mazda staff.

This is the first generation of RX7, and sits in the sweet spot between the earlier less desirable models and the last editions. Being a late
model it is loaded with electric goodies, yet benefits from retaining the much simpler 12A carburetted engine.

The body is in superb condition, with no rust anywhere. This car has never been restored, simply kept in prime condition. Everything works as
it should, and all the fittings and fixtures such as the original rear load cover are present and in great shape!

On the road the car is a pleasure, and certainly was ahead of its time in respect of drivability. The years have been very kind to its
handling too, feeling like a much younger car. The Engine is super smooth as you would expect for rotary, and fires into life with little effect both hot and cold.

Opportunities to buy a car like this are few and far between. This beautiful piece of automotive history will make a fine addition to any collectors garage.
We specialise in all Japanese sport cars, sales, servicing, tuning and restoration. All our cars are thoroughly inspected before sale by our fully trained technicians. There’s no better place in the UK to buy a used JDM sports car!

Private plate not included.

Only £19995! Call 01429838885 for more info. Office ours 9-5pm monday-Friday.

Just saw this on Cars and Classic. Great looking car with a recent engine rebuild looks comparable to the white one seen on here recently for sale at £20k

It’s a steal at its current bid

Agreed Ian, but I note the bids are creeping up. When I first looked this morning is was £6,600 but, with 2 hours to go, it's at £10,000. I suspect it will go higher before the close too!
