Great spot, decent project if it comes cheap enough...
I used to own A24FUT back in the 80's... wonder if they came from the same dealership?

Sellers description:
So, the first new sports car you own is a Mazda RX7 and you want to re live the dream? Well, this is exactly the case with the last owner of this example. Trouble is it has to be perfect in order to resemble that brand new car he had back in the day. Needless to say countless examples failed the test until he came upon this car, an extremely good 67, 000-mile example with full history and in great shape, owned by an ardent RX7 enthusiast.
Following purchase, the car was fully inspected, the aim being to return it to as new condition. To this end the engine was fully rebuilt by specialists Hayward Rotary, any other mechanical areas found wanting were dealt with and a new sports exhaust fitted. The extensive history file documents this work. The bodywork was in decent shape, but a few areas found wanting were noticed and so a full strip and repaint followed, again this is detailed in invoicing on file. A number of other invoices detail work completed to ensure the car presents as close to a new example as possible.
So here we have perhaps the finest UK supplied RX7 of its type, unmarked and immaculate, to original specification and with a full history from new including the original book pack with stamped service book, many invoices and MOT certificates.
I doubt there is another out there like this.

For sale in Portsmouth.... this would already be on my drive if it wasn't a left hooker
Sellers description:
For sale is our 1980 RX7 SA22. She is a genuine California car, imported by us in 2018.
We purchased the car from an English car dealer near San Francisco. Shipped it to a friend’s house in Kentucky, and then performed a 1250 mile road trip across the south east of the USA. She was sent home to Southampton from Charleston, South Carolina.
The road trip and car featured in Practical Classics Magazine.
The car body is in excellent condition, she is totally rust free as you’d expect having come from California. She is a Leather Sport or ‘LS’ Edition. These were supplied in one of three colours: Brilliant Black, Aurora White & Solar Gold.
Ours features a brown leather interior, and Brilliant Black Paint code. As far as I am aware there were 2500 of these built, 1000 in black. She has the correct LS spec gold anodised wheels. No idea how many LS editions survive today.
She has the 12a Rotary Engine fitted, and runs like a swiss watch, very smooth. I rebuilt the carburettor in the USA before the trip, and gave her a full fluid service, new HT leads, fuel pump, filters, spark plugs etc.
I have not carried out a rotary compression test, but she does not smoke, nor consume any water or oil. She carried us across the USA with the A/C on full blast, at 80 MPH in the hot southern US climate, 90 Degrees F on some days, so I’d say that was a fair test of engine health being good!
The A/C works, and is still filled with R12 refrigerant.
She appears to be completely original, no modifications. I even believe the exhaust is the factory unit. The full California smog pack is there including air pump and gigantic catalytic convertor. Removal of this is likely to liberate quite a few HP!
She was fully Cavity waxed on arrival in the UK, with rust buster products, and has been stored in a dry garage ever since, covering very few miles since import.
55k Miles on the clocks.
Bad Points-
-American Lack of familiarity with a manual gearbox has taken it’s toll on the synchromesh of 3rd gear. Basically it crunches if shifting into third too fast, no whining etc, just crunching. Shifting gently is fine. I have a good replacement gearbox to go in, which will come with the car. I have not had time to fit this, but it can be organised if the full asking price is met.
-The interior has some sun fading, and the dash top is covered in a carpet topper at the moment due to sun cracking. Can be repaired by one of these specialist types. The same chap will likely be able to help with some cracking on the driver’s seat bolster.
-A couple of times in the US, we had an issue where ‘crap’ in the fuel tank would block the fuel outlet, and starve the pump. The last few times we have used the car, we have not had an issue with this, but I suggest that cleaning out the fuel tank is probably a good move!
-Age related marks, mainly on the bonnet of the vehicle. I’d describe the paint work as a good user. You certainly wouldn’t be embarrassed turning up at a show in her, but she is also not concours condition.
The car is priced at 8k. These are becoming increasingly rare, especially with absolutely zero rust, as these do love to rust! This is a lovely example, with a bit of magazine feature history to boot, and a good ‘driving’ project to get stuck into, which is bags of fun when you’re behind the wheel!
Fully UK Registered. UK V5 in our possession. No Taxes to pay etc. UK Tax and MOT Exempt due to age-Pre Jan 1981.
Not interested in a swap, cash sale only please.
Car located near Portsmouth UK.

I don't think this one has been mentioned yet - 1984 Turbo in red for £19,995 on Facebook
https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/it ... _type=post
Description: "Mazda rx7 turbo(very rare) 1984. 121,492miles. Excellent condition for the age inside and out. Fully resprayed. Engine overhold. Chassie completely rebuilt. Full Mot. No advisories. For more details call on 07846413183"
Very rare indeed - I wish it was still rare to ask 20,000 for an FB but I digress.
A turbo aficionado will have to judge the condition of this one but I thought I would at least point it out

Goodness gracious! Shame though, I doubt even the shrewdest of negotiators could talk him down. On another price related note, do you reckon I could maybe get that Californian import for £6,000? That's my absolute upper price limit and I would be delighted if I could acquire it. Otherwise..... any of you fancy selling your car

(on a serious note, I have a 205 1.8D that I would be open to PX, or just straight cash within my limits, as mentioned.) Apologies if this part is slightly irrelevant to the board!

I would say that LHD is a bloody bargain. Stock series 1

. Is it just me? I think LHD models will start being worth more in RHD countries soon, as all the RHD ones have been bought up in recent years. It's also a pretty limited trim and in good condition by the pics.

1985 Mazda RX7 FB £10,500 Dorset
Sellers description:
12A Engine
Wide bodied
Bodywork in really good condition - just spent 2k in getting some rust around the arches sorted and resprayed
Engine rebuild by hurley rotary at around 90,000
Interior all completely original apart from new radio
Also has had an immobiliser and alarm fitted to it sometime in the past
As far as i can tell this is 1 out of 3 of the RX7 FB that are left in the UK and is definitely the only one which has been widebodied.
I have no idea how much it is worth so make me an offer?
May potentially be interested in a px or swap if it is something interesting.
Please get in touch for more pictures and if you have any questions let me know
