series 2 project for sale on ebay £2200
sellers description:
MAZDA RX7,;dry stored garage find ,medium restoration ,70.000 miles+
Not used for a decade or more but starts and drives.
Hi owing to to spinal surgury at the end of the month I have reluctantly decided to dispose of my collection of sports ,Classics and projects, I really wanted to restore this RX7 but with my future health and ability in question I think I'm going to have to pass, the RX7 is what I would describe as a medium restoration , the body is very solid with minimal rust, the interior is very nice with only minor defects, under bonnet is amazingly clean and solid ,the car is sitting on odd alloys but there are two more to matching the front ones on the car (original ) a factory TRD body kit is fitted, there is some rust to the underside but infinitely sortable, the headlights pop up as they should, the car will start and run and sounds great ,a stainless Powerflo exhaust is fitted, a great project, there are some old mot's some history and handbook present, The V5 will have to be applied for as it has been mislaid but this is no problem, any questions message or call 07948095466, Jim

Theres a car out there for everyone.
For my project intentions that would be ideal, as Id sell on a lot of the stuff. Including the mismatched alloys.
Ill be keeping a close eye on this.
Cheers Ian for the heads up.

As this has been off the road I doubt this is on the register, presumably Ian can confirm?
It would be a shame not to restore this as it doesn't look to be a rust bucket.

That's a very early TWR kit. First version didn't have full length side skirts, just rear spats. Front and rear different design as well.

How is the front different? Brake ducts on the later ones?

An S2 with an S3 rear axle ?
I cant see otherwise how the S3 wheels would fit unless they had bee re-drilled ?
BTW Aren't S2 wheels 13", I don't have mine close to hand to check.
